This is a shared footway. A new entrance to a private business park has been built across it. This is really, really bad infrastructure. The islands are too small for long bicycles with trailers, the angles are severe and motorists will ... [more]

Long straight road where too many cars drive way too fast. Sections where cars are parked both sides of the road make it difficult for vehicles to pass each other safely. Cycling down Charlestown Road can be a bloody awful dangerous experie ... [more]

Segregated Cycleway needed Deansgate that will also allow for safer crossing towards Spinningfields. At the very minimum the road should be repaved as in order to avoid potholes you to move very close to moving vehicles and sometimes bl ... [more]

Plenty of room for segregated cycleway along this road

Pavement and cycleway-to-be - surface needs raising as tree routes make it inaccessible for many

Speeding cars/vans, very narrow road + pavement and a semi-blind bend leads to very dangerous overtaking. There is no room to widen the road for cycle paths, so maybe we need a one-way system with Manchester/Wilbraham Rds to allow for a wi ... [more]

Too many parked cars combined with pedestrian islands means lots of pinch points. Solution: double yellows + cycle paths. Without the parked cars this road is ideal width for cycle lanes.

Approaching the Parkway East->West is very, very dangerous at busy times. There is a straight-on cycle path that cars simply ignore and cut straight in front of unsuspecting/trusting cyclist. The lights/stopline need bringing forward (Eas ... [more]

This is a key route into town so a proper bike lane with a safe walking/cycling crossing from Ancoats would really help encourage active travel. Great Ancoats Street is a busy, unsafe street that acts as a barrier

Fix the cycle lane going north next to The Christie.

Dangerous to cycle down Palatine Rd, heavy traffic ... needs a segregated cycleway

Segragated cycling path needed for for secondary children to get to the school safely. Maybe shared cycling and pedestrian path.

This is a narrow road, and cars are always parked there. It is hazardous to cyclist. This short stretch of the road should have no parking.

Remove barriers here - really difficult to lift bikes over. Especially for those with kid seats. Too heavy.
