A bike share dock, right next to a decent protected cycleway in and out of Manchester - but no dropped kerb. This kerb is gigantic. This should be resolved asap.
The angle Minshull Street divides off the A6 causes fast turning traffic, dangerous for the many pedestrians crossing the city centre road, and conflict over the bus lane on the left, dangerous for cyclists and making it less useful for bus ... [more]
An utterly pointless series of barriers rendered useless by the desire line to the left. Stop installing this rubbish. If antisocial motorcycle use is an issue, that is for the police to deal with. And if the police don't have the reso ... [more]

The new bridge across the M56. Marked as bad practice because despite being a "cycling" bridge, you cannot cycle onto or off it.
Bicycles do not fit in the sole lift provided on the north side of this bridge. This bridge likely infringes the Equality Act 2010.
There isn't even a pavement on this side of the road - this really needs looked at. No space for walking at all!
On-street parking should be removed to either widen the pavement or provide a cycle way. Significant problem here with close passing of cars
Bury Old road needs cycleway south into Manchester and north to M60 past Heaton Park and over to Prestwich.

This is a shared footway. A new entrance to a private business park has been built across it. This is really, really bad infrastructure. The islands are too small for long bicycles with trailers, the angles are severe and motorists will ... [more]
Long straight road where too many cars drive way too fast. Sections where cars are parked both sides of the road make it difficult for vehicles to pass each other safely. Cycling down Charlestown Road can be a bloody awful dangerous experie ... [more]
Segregated Cycleway needed Deansgate that will also allow for safer crossing towards Spinningfields. At the very minimum the road should be repaved as in order to avoid potholes you to move very close to moving vehicles and sometimes bl ... [more]
Dangerously narrow and congested busy street, with a lot of parked vehicles adding to the mix. Ban all motorised vehicles (maybe just during the day to allow for deliveries - 7am-7pm), and make it exclusive to pedestrians/cycles.
Speeding cars/vans, very narrow road + pavement and a semi-blind bend leads to very dangerous overtaking. There is no room to widen the road for cycle paths, so maybe we need a one-way system with Manchester/Wilbraham Rds to allow for a wi ... [more]
Much better protection of the cycle way. I use it in the mornings but dare not in the evenings; pedestrians cross into it and cars turn across it with very little warning.
Too many parked cars combined with pedestrian islands means lots of pinch points. Solution: double yellows + cycle paths. Without the parked cars this road is ideal width for cycle lanes.
Approaching the Parkway East->West is very, very dangerous at busy times. There is a straight-on cycle path that cars simply ignore and cut straight in front of unsuspecting/trusting cyclist. The lights/stopline need bringing forward (Eas ... [more]
This is a key route into town so a proper bike lane with a safe walking/cycling crossing from Ancoats would really help encourage active travel. Great Ancoats Street is a busy, unsafe street that acts as a barrier
Really unpleasant waiting area for buses. Like standing on a motorway. Needs to be more pedestrian and cycle focused.
Unclear to some drivers that this is a cycle lane. Line paint doesn't do the job - needs to be safer
