[Image taken 26.9.21] Skeldergate junction with Fetter Lane, York. Start or end of the Terry Avenue/Clementhorpe Flood Defences diversion. (See: #169586.) Too many signs. None says: 'Rowntree Park', or 'Millennium Bridge', ie the destinations many local people, including youngsters, will be trying to reach and from where they know their way to York College and or Tesco, for example. Fetter Lane means nothing to me yet it is critical if you miss these signs and get to this one: #169735. Terry Avenue was intuitive, straight, flat... And was used by people with learning disabilities and cognitive impairment. This alternative is not accessible in terms of way finding, level terrain, safety... York residents have been scandalously short changed. It's also not good for visitors or the city's reputation among tourists who come here to walk, cycle or wheelchair. Other images this issue today: #174410, #174411, #174412, #174413. Other images today: #174414, #174417, #174419, #174421, #174424, #174442
